Chapter 12 – Using FrontPage 98/2000
For users who are familiar with FrontPage 98/2000, you can use FrontPage 98/2000 to modify the html files after they have been published. The published html files are located in the \..\ZilronStoreCreator\upload\store_ID\ folder. Do not try to modify the JavaScript or the template specification files (*.ini) or the template files in the template folders.
To import into your FrontPage 98/2000:
- Start your FrontPage 98/2000 program
- Hit Cancel if it tries to open an existing FrontPage web
- File>Import>Import an Existing Web
>choose a title>Change to specify where you want to save this new imported FrontPage Web- A blank web is opened for you and you are asked to locate where you are importing the files from
- Select 'From a source directory of files on a local computer or network'
- Click on browse, locate and open the folder (not individual files) where your store files are (\upload\storeID)
- Press 'Next', 'Next' & 'Finish'
When you upload your store files using FrontPage 98/2000, make sure you also upload all the files including all the *.jpg, *.gif and *.js files.
