Learning the Basics
This manual assumes that:
- You have read the owners manual for the computer you are using, and are familiar with your PC and with using a mouse.
- You are familiar with Windows terms such as icon, click, double-click, drag, select, choose, window, insertion point, folder, dialog box, and with basic concepts such as folder (directory) structures, file naming, saving, copying and renaming files, and graphic files (*.gif & *.jpg).
- You are familiar with Internet terms such as html, URL address, web sites, downloading and uploading files, HTML color codes and use of emails. Although some basic knowledge of html helps you to take advantage of our advanced features in customizing the templates, it is not necessary to know html to be able to use our program.
Getting Help
When you first set up your store, the program includes several wizards and prompts that guide you through the tasks. Reading and following through these wizards and prompts will help you to publish your online stores. For us to understand your problem, you may have to capture your screen images and email them to us. To capture an image, have the image on screen and hit the "Print Screen" key (some keyboards may show "PrtSc" or "Prnt Scrn"). Then go to your Paint program that comes with your Windows program by clicking on Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint. Select Edit>Paste and then save the image. Send that image to us together with a brief message indicating the nature of your problem.
